About Titan Survival

TITAN Survival is a small, family-owned business located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, and our products are trusted and used by military personnel and outdoor enthusiasts all around the world. We started the company back in 2012 as TITAN Paracord, when our founder Jarod King ran out of the 550 cord that he had stashed from his Army Infantry days. After buying lots of sub-standard and inconsistent paracord claiming to be “mil-spec”, Jarod decided to manufacture his own authentic paracord for the more discriminating client – where strength, durability, and reliability are a critical requirement.

We changed our name to TITAN Survival in 2016 to better encompass our expanding portfolio of innovative outdoor products. We believe our broad product portfolio helps our customers feel safe and secure when engaging in outdoor activities, to be prepared for emergencies in the wild, and we are proud to have become a trusted global supplier of these products for retail organization all around the world.

Our R&D Process

We begin the development of each and every product (i.e. paracord) with the same question: We love and use this product daily, but can we make it better?

So our team of diverse minds looks at all of the ways that a product can be improved, how we can make the product dual or even multi-purpose, and then we get to work on creating a new version.

From there, once we have a product prototype tested and verified to work consistently, we consider ourselves 90% there and we launch to our most trusted customers (i.e. SurvivorCord).  They in-turn give us feedback on making the product even better, and then we launch v2 with all of those improvements.

And it doesn’t stop there.  Every product we manufacture and sell goes through a periodic review process where we incorporate new customer feedback into the latest and greatest version.  We never stop improving, because we plan to be around for a very long time and the Customer Experience means everything to us.
